SINGAPORE, 23 September 2026 – Clinigen, a global speciality pharmaceutical services company, and ShanZeBIO, a specialised platform company dedicated to the acquisition, introduction and commercialisation of innovative pharmaceutical products, today announced an exclusive commercialisation and distribution partnership for Avelox® (moxifloxacin) across 16 international markets spanning Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
Under the agreement, Clinigen will be responsible for the commercialisation and distribution of Avelox® in the agreed territories, drawing on its capabilities across regulatory affairs, supply chain management, commercial operations and speciality pharmaceutical distribution. ShanZeBIO will provide product supply and pharmaceutical expertise to support implementation of the partnership.
The agreement reflects the important role that specialised commercial and distribution partners can play in supporting the long-term availability of established medicines. While many products continue to be relied upon by healthcare systems years after their initial launch, maintaining their presence across geographically diverse markets requires ongoing commercial support, regulatory oversight and supply-chain infrastructure.
By combining ShanZeBIO’s pharmaceutical expertise with Clinigen’s international platform and market knowledge, the companies will work together to support the continued availability of Avelox® across the partnership territories, in accordance with applicable local regulatory requirements.
